Why it is listed
Craftsman style, one-and-a-half storey house with side gable, variegated red and black rug brick in running bond, brick window sills, synthetic siding in gable ends. Home of the Walker family. The man who built this house also ran the ice cream parlour in the Chinese restaurant in downtown Georgetown
What the status means
On the register but not designated. Listing does not require a heritage permit for alterations, but an owner must give the Town 60 days' notice of an intention to demolish or remove a building or structure (Ontario Heritage Act, s. 27(9)).
