Halton Hills’ own transit services

Specialized transit

ActiVan

Door-to-door specialized transportation for seniors aged 65 and older and for persons with disabilities, within Halton Hills.

Who can register
Seniors aged 65 or older, and persons with a disability (application form and proof required).
Vehicles operate
Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Booking
Online or by phone at 905-702-6435, at least 24 hours ahead and up to 7 days ahead. The booking office is open 7 days a week, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and closed on statutory holidays.
Trips outside Halton Hills
Booked through ActiVan with a transfer to a participating accessible service (Oakville Care-A-Van, Burlington Handi-Van, Milton Access+, Peel TransHelp); each portion is booked and paid separately.

Bus

Steeles Avenue bus

A municipal bus along the Steeles Avenue corridor, from Milton GO Station to Lisgar GO Station in Mississauga.

Service hours
Weekdays 5:57 a.m. to 10:27 p.m.; Saturdays 7:27 a.m. to 7:27 p.m.; no service on Sundays or statutory holidays.
Cash fare
$4.25, paid into the fare box when boarding (operators do not make change).
