Sources and method

The municipality's own communities, defined as the municipality defines them: by its wards (the Town's Elected Officials page names Ward 1 Acton, Ward 3 North Georgetown and Ward 4 South Georgetown). Schools are matched by the Ministry's mailing city; facilities and GO stations are listed only where their official page gives an address in the community. No boundary is drawn: the Town's own community outlines are not licensed for reuse. Checked October 8, 2026.

Population and dwellings: Statistics Canada population centre (2021 Census): a census area built from dissemination blocks, not the Town's urban-area boundary.
