Description
Herbert Thomas Arnold operated his progressive and successful glove making and distribution business, H.T. Arnold & Sons, here from 1901 to 1922; Two-storey brick building with a flat roof, corner entry, brick voussoirs, stone sills and segmentally arche window surrounds; Contributes to the historic commercial streetscape of Downtown Georgetown. This was the last factory to be built on Factory Street (now Park Avenue). Mr. Arnold died when struck by a bike in Toronto while waiting for a bus to Acton. He lived at Grandview House, 55 Queen Street
