Why it is listed
Good example of an Edwardian style residence including hipped roof with dormer; This house and neighbouring 32 Charles Street were built by Georgetown local, William D. Johnston; Part of the historic residential streetscape of Charles Street.
What the status means
On the register but not designated. Listing does not require a heritage permit for alterations, but an owner must give the Town 60 days' notice of an intention to demolish or remove a building or structure (Ontario Heritage Act, s. 27(9)).
