Why it is listed
Good example of a vernacular style residence; This house has remained in the Davis family since it was constructed by William Kentner of the Georgetown Lumber Co.; Part of the historic residential streetscape of Queen Street.
What the status means
On the register but not designated. Listing does not require a heritage permit for alterations, but an owner must give the Town 60 days' notice of an intention to demolish or remove a building or structure (Ontario Heritage Act, s. 27(9)).
