Why it is listed
Good example of Gothic Revival style church architecture including lancet windows; Associated with the religious history of Norval; 1838 a small chapel was built on the current location, in 1889 it was replaced with the present brick structure; Associate with Thomas Forester, who started the congregation in his house.
