Why it is listed
Built by Thomas Overton and converted to a barber shop in the 1880s; Good example of Gothic Revival style architecture including a bay window, and chrome brick quoining and window labels
What the status means
On the register but not designated. Listing does not require a heritage permit for alterations, but an owner must give the Town 60 days' notice of an intention to demolish or remove a building or structure (Ontario Heritage Act, s. 27(9)).
