The race for mayor

The three certified mayoral candidates, in the order the Town lists them, are Jason Brass, Ann Lawlor and Ivan Bosnjak. The Town's Elected Officials page identifies Ann Lawlor as the current Mayor, elected in October 2022, and Jason Brass as a current Ward 2 Local Councillor.

The Mayor of Halton Hills also sits on Halton Regional Council. According to Halton Region, voters elect two people to Regional Council: their Mayor and the Regional Councillor who represents their ward.

Regional Councillor

Regional Councillor candidates, as certified
Wards 1 and 2
Hillary Spurr, Alex Hilson
Wards 3 and 4
Chantal Garneau, D’Arcy Keene

The Town's Elected Officials page lists Clark Somerville as the current Regional Councillor for Wards 1 and 2 and Jane Fogal for Wards 3 and 4. Neither name appears on the certified list. Three of the four regional candidates are sitting Local Councillors, according to the same page: Alex Hilson (Ward 1), Chantal Garneau (Ward 3) and D’Arcy Keene (Ward 4).

Local Councillor races by ward

Local Councillor candidates, as certified (two elected in each ward)
Ward 1 (Acton)
Kevin Carruthers, Mike Albano, Anthony Galati, Shanna Maltby
Ward 2 (rural area and hamlets)
Matt Kindbom, Ken Paige, Daniel Dragicevic, Jasvir Sodhi
Ward 3 (north Georgetown)
Anita Bergsma, Maeve Sharkey, Ron Norris, Wendy Farrow‑Reed
Ward 4 (south Georgetown)
Bob Inglis, Tyler McFadden, Aditee Goswami, Christopher Power, Hardeep Ghuman, Seema Tunio, Waldo Paquete, Kimberley Roy

Among the local candidates, the Town's Elected Officials page lists Matt Kindbom (Ward 2), Ron Norris (Ward 3) and Bob Inglis (Ward 4) as sitting Local Councillors for the same wards. It also lists a Councillor Michael Albano in Ward 1; the certified list names Mike Albano.

School board trustees

Trustee candidates for Halton Hills, as certified (one elected per board)
Halton District School Board
Susan Doyle, Lennox Liverpool
Halton Catholic District School Board
Eliane Bousamra, Janet O'Hearn Czarnota
Conseil scolaire Viamonde
Sonia Macaluso (acclaimed)
Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir
Diane Courchesne (acclaimed)

The Town marks acclaimed candidates with an asterisk. Only the two French-language trustee candidates carry one: each is the only candidate the Town lists for that board. Which trustee race a voter is asked about depends on the school board they support.

Not on the ballot: the Regional Chair

Halton Region says the Better Regional Governance Act, 2026 turned the Regional Chair into a post the Province appoints. The Chair is therefore not on this year's ballot, and no nominations for it may be filed or accepted.
