Why it is listed
Originally the station house for the Hamilton and Northwestern Railway, adjacent to the since removed railway tracks; Representative of Vernacular style architecture including gable roof, windows with stone sills, front porch, side bay window with iron casting above, and rear addition with flat roof; Contributes to the historic streetscape of Main Street
What the status means
On the register but not designated. Listing does not require a heritage permit for alterations, but an owner must give the Town 60 days' notice of an intention to demolish or remove a building or structure (Ontario Heritage Act, s. 27(9)).
